R.E.A.L
Lead vocalsR.E.A.L, also known as Reinventing Energy And Love, is a powerhouse vocalist with an undeniable stage presence. His love for performing started at a young age when his mother would wake him up during late-night house parties.
Mr. Shey Butta
Background vocalsSheldon Patrick Richens or Mr. Shey Butta is a seasoned background vocalist with a career spanning over four decades. He has been a professional musician since the early ‘80s, refining his craft and immersing himself in the music industry.
Lady L
Background vocalsLady L is one of the background vocalists with a soul-stirring presence, bringing decades of experience to the stage. Her journey in music began at the age of four, singing in church alongside her mother and family.
Miss Danielle
Background vocalsBackground vocalist Miss Danielle grew up in a musical household, surrounded by the melodies of her mother’s guitar and the rhythms of her father’s bass. Music was ever-present in her home, shaping her from an early age.
Tony
Guitar 1Tony, short for Tony Bunch, is the guitarist, writer, and composer for R.E.A.L., bringing decades of experience and passion to the group. His love for music began at the age of 10 when he picked up a guitar for the first time, instantly falling in love with the instrument. By the time he was 12 or 13, he was deeply inspired after seeing Earth, Wind & Fire live, solidifying his desire to pursue music.
Hash
BassHashim Bunch, also known as Hash or Dr. Bass, is the bassist for R.E.A.L. Born into a musical family, he was surrounded by rhythm and melody from an early age. His mother introduced him to music, and he started playing percussion in their African band before developing a strong interest in guitar.
Rah
DrumsAs the drummer for R.E.A.L., Richard Adolphus Harrison, known as RAH, is the driving force behind the band’s rhythm. His passion for drumming started in childhood, banging on tables with friends to create beats. At 12 years old, a visit to the Playboy Club in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, led him to his first live drumming experience, where a professional drummer introduced him to calypso rhythms. By 15, he recorded his first single, This Is a Party, marking the beginning of his professional music career.
Doctor 88
Keyboard 2Doctor 88, the keyboardist for the band, brings a lifetime of musical experience to the group. Born into a musical family, he was introduced to music at the age of 2, with his parents singing him to sleep every night.
Wicked
Gary Fritz, also known as Wicked, is a seasoned percussionist whose musical journey began in his childhood, surrounded by creativity. With a drummer father and a dancer mother, he grew up immersed in rhythm and movement, attending gigs and events that shaped his passion for the arts. By the age of five, he was already drawn to percussion, inspired by the way music could bring people together and create unforgettable moments.
Silk
Guitar 2Anders Reyes, better known by his stage name “Silk”, is the band’s guitarist, bringing his unique blend of jazz fusion, R&B soul, and alternative influences to the band’s sound. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Silk’s love for music began in a 2016 high school music class, where he first picked up the bass guitar.
